Should Have Been A Number One! What songs should have gone straight to number one and stayed there for at least a month, but instead fizzled away like an Alka Seltzer?
My first nomination is... 'Pounding' by doves.

Sweet Jane - obvious, I know, but I'd be hard-pressed to name a better pop song.

Janet - All Nite (Don't Stop)
Even though shot to #1 on Billboard's Dance/Club Play chart, it should've been a #1 Hot 100 smash. That's the biggest missed #1 I've heard in years.

When Goodies can be #1 and not All Nite, I think Billboard charts are like the polls in Florida (fishy) I think some of the singles that shoot to #1 are priced at $.99, especially with a lot of new artists or (one hit wonders). I think this also unfair to singles that are priced at $3.00 and up. Sales chart showing number of pieces sold, or money value of the sale? Understand what I'm saying? Their should be a $.99 sales chart for those fools. ---------------------------------
