I honestly think this is my fave song of hers. "Daddy I'm Fine" perfectly meshes the anger of her yout with the softness and studio perfection she later gained. "Jealous" and "The State I'm In" are perfect. "Dancing Lessons." What a song. That'll be the first dance when Denny and I actually get "married" someday. | |

I couldnt agree with you more! This is one of her finest albums and commerical enough to break but the US just coulnt't seem to get over her antics in the early 90's. I thought she was brilliant in her protests and it's sad that this fine album was overlooked. 'Daddy I'm Fine' is the perfect song before going out or rocking out to in your car... 'Jealous' is just a heart-breaker 'Hold Back The Night' makes me cry everytime...such a beautiful lyric and the soaring muisc just gets to my inner core! I'm pulling this one out right now!
