how can you compare their voices at all??? I"m probably one of the biggest Duranies on this board, but if I had to choose, I've vote for George Michael. I can't completely blame Simon, he did have vocal chord problems years ago, I believe he tore them. Simon has a great voice, but he doesn't use it with as much power and clarity as George does. If you listen to "They Won't Go When I Go".. the part where he sings "my destiny"... it's obvious. I think Simon could sing with as much emotion and power as George, he just hasn't. Most of DD's songs are, as Simon has referred to himself, to envoke fun. I do think Simon's voice has improved with age though. Come to think of it, how can we really tell who's got the better voice, with the advent of all the technology available in the studios to "enhance" a singer's voice??? I love both Simon and George, but I listen to Duran Duran more than every other group out there, so my Duranie heart rules over George I guess. Diana Duranies rock on!!!!

Even though he has done nothing decent since, let's say Outside? What a load of bullshit his last outings were... Hmmmm, seems as if Gooey hasn't heard any of the Patience album... if you like sentimental music, I'd recommend "My Mother Had A Brother"... if funky is more your style, listen to "Flawless"... but they are in no way the only great tracks on that album. This sounds like something that could be placed in the same rink as George with a deep voice starting it off... by Simon. Which is in my opinion different. http://213.225.89.158/kla...04demo.mp3
