C'mon Stevie WTF

First the VMAs, then the Ray Charles thing. Stevie should be using this exposure to promote the FREAKIN' ALBUM HE'S BEEN PROMISING TO RELEASE THIS YEAR. SHEESH. HE hasn't even had the decency to let the magazine racks saturate themselves with front page articles about his "return to form" like Prince lol

No, I didn't mean it as a joke, although it was a stupid thing to say in retrospect (wasn't thinking). But he has completely screwed up this project, promotion-wise. I think he should have at least completed the album before starting the rounds. And I worry that it's never gonna be released after really interminable, countless delays.

I think he finished it a long time ago and might be having other issues: Syreeta's Death, supposed management turnover in Motown. My god it's been ten years, and stevie's never been a slowpoke in recording (though he has been an overperfectionist in the last couple decades).

Last I heard when he was on Oprah months ago it was coming out "soon".

She had a copy in her hands.

So one person actually has heard it that we know of.

Man, I want new Stevie.

ya'll it isnt Stevie's fault... Motoversal ( as i like to call em) are bein funny and not releasing it,or pushing it back as usual, and most likely put out an "anthology package" with Bonus cuts, thats just how the devils at Motown work.

so dont blame stevie, blame the devils who control Motown now and thats Universal.

lol I guess that IS their mode of operation. I mean, for artists like Stevie and Marvin Gaye, how many "Best Of"s, " "Anthologies", and " Box Sets" do they have for each artist? shoot, they seem to put out another one every couple of years...I guess as long as the public goes for it , you can package and repackage forever...

"...Sure, you might have the greatest hits... but do you have the double disc edition of the greatest hits? Ok, you have that, but do you own the "Definitive Collection"? now go buy that, and the Anthology next year.....

...Now, you got those but do you have the new "Box Set"?? okay now, how about the Deluxe special edition , numbered Box Set with the Gold Case?? Don't Sleep on That!"
