RAY!!! i just saw the promo for "ray", the movie about ray charles' life. has anyone else seen this? is anyone else going to watch the movie when it comes out?

I'm just about dying to see this-looks really well done!
Did anyone catch the Ray tribute special on CBS that was on Friday I believe? Elton, Mary J. Blige, Norah, and the great Stevie himself were all in attendance doing Ray songs. Usher was in there as well. Great show.  | |

so they started filming this before he died?Oh yeah. It's been in the can for a little while now. Actually, Ray got to "see" it before he passed away. It wasn't the finished version, but he still loved it. He said he was "very, very pleased". I'm looking forward to seeing this. | |
