I went to see Jody Watley perform last Friday

She's put on a couple of good "healthy" pounds (nice little tummy, but not a beer gut like KLymaxx's Bernadette did on Bands Reunited). Sang!! 3 songs, her new one, whatever it was called, a slowed down version of Friends (she even rapped the Rakim part) and Real Love. Nice little piece of mid-30's nostalgia for me biggrin

nope just those 3 songs. if i wasn't hanging out with my co-workers i might have been a little peeved at the 20 minute setlist..but it was Ultra Nate's club here in Bmore, MD. Jody was just kinda an added bonus.

Could you kind of explain the new one. Is it a new single or something from her last album, which has been out for a while in Japan and a year and a half over here. I'd look forward to more music from her.
