i'm digging me some Bruce right now. Brilliant Disguise is such a cool song. it's got a lot of cool elements that makes a good song. A master songwriter and performer.

i did buy the rising when it came out ... i thought it was overblown in the media ... decent album ... but not really alot of great songs ... i mean ... i used to skip to like 3-4 songs on the album ...

Not really into that one. But the title track to the Tunnel Of Love album is sweeet. I dig it.

Never seen a concert shorter than three hours by this guy and his band..

I will never forget ... when i bought "the rising" ...

i put it in the cd player ... and let it go ... as i drove to the beach ...

i think it was song 7 or so .... forget the name of it ...

but it starts out really funky .... and i thought the cd skipped ... to a Prince cd or somethin ....

had to grab the cd packet ... or wait til bruce started singing to confirm it was still a bruce cd i was listening to ... i think the song has something to do with "one world" or "world " in the title ....

all i could think ... much like "holy river" is Prince trying to be Bruce .... that song was like Bruce trying FONKY like Prince ....

Tunnel of Love is one of those sleeper albums. Its one of those albums that doesn't get the recogintion as the better-known albums, wasn't that big of a deal when it came out, it has been getting better with age and real fans love it (kind of like Parade imo).

Its in my top 5 fave Bruce albums.

Also love The River, Born to Run, The Wild, Innocent..., & The Rising.
