Gwen Stefani new album feat:New Order, Eve, Dre, andre 3000 and wendy and lisa Stefani Gets A Lift From New Order, Eve, Dre
No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani gets a lift from members of New Order and OutKast, rapper Eve and superstar producer Dr. Dre on her Interscope solo debut, "Love, Angel, Music, Baby." As previously reported, the 12-track set is led by the single "What You Waiting For?," which jumps 81-67 in its third week on the Billboard Hot 100. New Order vocalist Bernard Sumner and bassist Peter Hook guest on "Real Thing," which featured an intro provided by former Prince backing musicians Wendy and Lisa. Dr. Dre produced "Rich Girl" featuring Eve, who previously teamed with Stefani for the 2001 No. 2 Hot 100 hit "Let Me Blow Ya Mind." OutKast's Andre 3000 appears on two cuts, "Bubble Pop Electric" (credited to his alter ego, Johnny Vulture) and closer "Long Way To Go." Other production was provided by No Doubt's Tony Kanal, Nellee Hooper, the Neptunes, Dallas Austin and Jimmy Jim and Terry Lewis. The artist says she hopes No Doubt devotees and casual fans will embrace the album, which will also be available in a deluxe limited-edition package. "I have all the respect for everyone that's ever supported No Doubt around the world," Stefani tells Billboard. "But if I'm being honest, when I'm making songs I'm only thinking of myself. I don't think of other people. It's not 'make music to order' over here. I had a specific thing I wanted to try [with this album] and now, I'm ready to share it with people." Here is the track list for "Love, Angel, Music, Baby": "What You Waiting For? "Rich Girl" featuring Eve "Hollaback Girl" "Cool" "Bubble Pop Electric" "Luxurious" "Harajuku Girls" "Crash" "Real Thing" "Serious" "Danger Zone" "Long Way To Go"

That album is gonna be hot. Love that new single! She kinda sounds like Cyndi Lauper circa "She Bop" on it.

Yeah, I'm kind of excited. I liked No Doubt much better when they started doing the electro/dancehall pop. Lay down your bets bout whether they split if the album does well -- what the heck is the naked drummer going to play?

No Doubt will split, if they haven't already. This album will be a smash.
