LEFT OF THE DIAL - Dispatches from the 80's alternative underground

So, has anyone else bought the new Rhino 4-CD box set LEFT OF THE DIAL? it's pretty fucking amazing.. Rhino is the best at box sets and reissues, no question. This is a great survey of 80's alternative, and it sounds great... interesting essays and blurbs about each song.

My only qualm is that it's very light on New Wave stuff.. which makes me hope that Rhino is holding out stuff for a New Wave box... since they hinted in the liner notes for LEFT OF THE DIAL that there will be future box sets...

If anyone likes 80's alternative music, i can't recommend this set highly enough... it's insanely good.

Why the fuck did they call it "Left of the Dial" and not put "Left of the Dial" by the Replacements on the set???

Lots of signature tunes on that one, which means I already have the ones I'd want.
