Madame X

Anyone remember this girl group from the late 80's? They had a song called "just that type of girl". Bernadette cooper from klymaxx produced their album. It's good stuff! biggrin

That song rocks! It should've been a bigger hit. I just remember seeing the video on video music box, back in the day!

Yeah, that's a good song. By the way, i know how you feel about using the term slow jam. It's pretty funny.

Wonderful album!

I love the songs:

Just That Type Of Girl
I Want Your Body
I Wonder
Flirt
Marry Me

Bernadette Cooper was a bad girl. Not only is she very talented but I love her image she portrays...she reminds me of the female Morris Day.

I know, I love Bernadette Cooper. She seems so cool to me. I wish she would put some music out.

Did you know that there were plans for a second album in 1988? Bernadette was gonna produce it,and her good pal Teena Marie was gonna produce/write a few tracks as well. But apparently the group disbanded and the second album never materialized.

Alisa Randolph released a solo album instead. Valerie and Iris sing background on a few tracks so I'm thinking those tracks must have been salvaged from the never released second Madame X album.

The CD shows up on ebay every few months. That's where I got mine. I paid around $3 for it.
