What is Tyka Nelson's music like and what ever happened to her? Was her music funky? | |

I wouldn't say funky. I would call it sort of melancholy pop. I like her voice but have heard others call it "thin." The album I bought was Royal Blue and it has some very pretty tunes on it. | |

What sets it apart for me is the sound of her voice. I thought it was velvety. Put it this way - I named my daughter Tyka.  | |
