David Bowie - A Reality Tour DVD

It's frickin' awesome. I'm about 3/4 of the way through it as I type.

Captures the energy I felt at the show I saw in Sydney earlier this year really well.

Only thing I'd fault is the direction....those silly video effects get boring and don't add anything. I'd prefer just a few camera angles so I can see the musicians.

Anyone else got this?

Favourite performances on the DVD: Afraid, The Loneliest Guy, Sunday, Ashes to Ashes, Never Get Old.

I don't like the Ashes to Ashes performance on the DVD very much. I think a synth solo rather than a piano solo at the end fits the song much better and does anyone else agree that Gail Ann Dorsey, as amazing as she is, just doesn't really play right here? Watch the Paris 2002 video, Mark Plati plays much tighter.
