Expanding my guitar god collection

Right now I'm embarking on a quest to get more albums that showcase the requisite guitar at their best. I have Electric Ladyland, Wired, Blow By Blow, I'm getting Are you Experienced, Axis Bold as Love, Abraxas, Santana III, Santana. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to get by Clapton or B.B. King

I'll have to ask my husband about Clapton and B.B. King. BUT please buy anything recorded by Stevie Ray Vaughan. smile

Those are ones I'm looking into. I would really like to hear clapton and king trading off, that would be out of sight.

Does anyone know what the hell Jeff Beck's been up to?

You seem to like Jeff Beck, so get your hands on "Truth" (with Jeff Beck-guitar/bass, Rod Stewart-vocals, Ron Wood-bass, Mick Waller-drums, John Paul Jones-Hammond organ, Nicky Hopkins-piano). Delicious!
