A very out there question but what the heck: hi guys. this may seem like a shot in the dark but i'm gonna try it all the same:
for those of you who lived in the US circa 1985/86, did you ever see those television ads for Revlon's CHARLIE perfume for women? well, i seem to remember the 'CHARLIE girl' at that time was model/actress Karen Duffy (unless i am mistaken). but my burning question regards the music for that commercial. Karen is dressed kind of like Charlie Chaplin but not really. she has a tie, jacket, fedora and trousers...she walks around a kind of tunnel, disappearing and reappearing...all the while this smooth sax is playing in the background. WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT SONG and/or WHO IS THE ARTIST WHO PLAYS IT? my initial guess was david sanborn but i haven't been able to have access to all his music in order to find out. i just loved that song sooo much and want to know all i can about it. so if any of you know anything, please fill me in! much appreciated. (p.s.this is probably like looking for a needle in a large room with no light ) | |
