Sly's Multi-instrumentalism

I know that Sly Stone is/was a multi-instrumentalist, and that he was responsible for most of the instrumentation on There's a Riot Going On, but I still don't know exactly how many instruments he played or how proficient he was at them which I would be interested in knowing.

Sly also played bass on the funky part from the song Stand
Sly played drums on Poet.
