Sampleheads and James Brown fanatics, question...

godbless.mp3(84k, 5 seonds@128kbps)

Trying to identify the horn squeal buried in 0:01-0:02

The main drums are "Impeach The President" chopped up, and the main loop musical phrase is "Message From The Soul Sisters" by Myra Barnes a/k/a Vicki Anderson.

But what is that horny horn squeal from? confuse Is it even a James Brown affiliate?

FYI, the clip is a beat by Rashad Smith (not Marley Marl lol) on LL Cool J's song "God Bless" [1995].

I personally have no idea but would like to support this kind of cool trivia. biggrin
When the sunlight strikes raindrops in the air, they act as a prism and form a rainbow. The rainbow is a division of white light into many beautiful colors. Regardless of the day, I'm glad you were born.

Damn, not much to work with. That's really crammed in there.
Don't really recognize it but if it is from a JB piece and not Escapism, whoever played the sax solo on SuperBad does a lot of horn squeals like that.
