What was the first single you bought? I was 11 when I bought my 1st vinyl single... A dutch band called Doe Maar was as popular as The Beatles at the time in Holland...
I put all my money together and bought this single... 
But, for all you non dutch people; this was my first single of a foreign artist...

It was "Disco Juice" (12") by Cloud One. I actually wanted their record "Atmosphere Strut" but I didn't have enough money. For years I searched for Cloud One's album. Found the remastered CD, like, 20 years later.  | |

My very first was a 12" maxi single of The Bangles Walk Like an Egyptian. In fact, liekly ne of the only singles I ever bought. I never got into singles. |
