James Brown "i'm real"......forgotten gem? This is the song he did in 1988 with Full Force....."I'm real" to me is a as good as "sex machine" in my book.....great lyrics and even if it does sound dated, who cares, it's James Brown 4 christs sake!
I always thought how forgotten a gem this track is! Whole album has it's momemts too! | |

I always thought how forgotten a gem this track is! Whole album has it's momemts too! uh...let's not go nuts. sex machine is THE definitive funk song of all time. I'm real is a good album, to be sure, but it's not much of a james brown album considering he only wrote one song and co-wrote another, and it's hardly the cream of the crop of hip hop. | |
