yes after the brilliance of the sign o the times album, the uk public decided prince was indeed the real deal and proceeded to give him five number one albums in six years. lovesexy, batman, graffiti bridge, symbol and come. it would have been six in a row for prince if diamonds and pearls had not been pipped at the post by mick hucknell and his simply red band with "stars"
.....the ironic thing was that diamonds and pearls outsold all those other albums easily with over six million sales.

I think Stars is a good album.

My mom listens to Simply Red. I've never heard 'em.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Stars. I'm not too into Simply Red, but it's one of their best. Better than Diamonds and Pearls. Sorry, but it is. Every song on it is so beautiful.

I'd rather listen to stars and simply red than Diamonds and pearls...
