Haven't you ever seen the movie? The lyric is "like Prince searching through boxes IN Purple Rain" ~ a reference to the scene in which Prince's character is digging through boxes and finds his father's sheet music.

An excellent song, and a cute way to work Prince in. The reference fits perfectly with the theme of the song.

Cam'Ron has a song on his upcoming album, Purple Haze, that samples "Diamonds & Pearls" and in the song he says...
