Actually I was surprised at how good I thought it was especially considering that her big sis is Jessica.

I think Ashlee's album is fresh and uncomplicated; it's a nice piece of industry pop which makes me feel good, and that's basically what I look for in music regardless of the genre.

well Carry.. just like I think a few of you fave artist are crap (Lisa Stansfield, Annie Lennox etc.) I wouldn't say it without being more specific. It would be nice if you could possibly manage to articulate your opinion.. you know; expand on the topic and perhaps pin point why you dont like the music..

Could it be that alot of people round here are getting a bit old for the new stuff?
Or could it be that lot of ya'll are music snobs and will not acknowledge that pop music can have qualities to it.. just like rap, metal or any other genre..

I haven't heard too much of Ashlee's album, just the two singles. Not really my cup of tea but she is way less annoying than her sister. I read some of her interviews and she does seem just as ditzy as Jessica but musically she's not that bad. Incidentally, what's with all of the faux riot grrrl music we're getting lately? Avril Lavigne, Fefe Dobson, Sky Sweetnam, Hilary Duff, it's like that god awful female singer songwriter crap from the '90s in reverse!
