It's because the flavor of the month changed, I think.

i know he gets a lot of crap for rapping with singers and for not being a true gangsta, but so what? i think it's good that he's not a gansta. since when was being a gangsta something to respect and look up to?

UptownDeb

I heard him on the radio the other day. Don't know how the subject of being gay came up, but when he was asked whether or not he was, he said something like: "I got 3 kids and a wife!!!" So then Miss Jones told him to answer the question, "say yes or no." Of course he said no. Again, I don't know where that question came from, but I've always gotten that vibe about Squirrel Man.

It's her fault.

I've never liked him at any juncture, but when he decided to warble & gargle duets with her, even the phoniest hip hop head or pop fan laughed at his ass. What litlle if any street cred he had disappeard. 50 & EMINEM just made mince meat of him with their double sided attacks.

I doubt it. It's actually a shame, 'cause he's very talented; much better than 50 Cent could ever dream to be...

Once the 50 Cent hype train gathered up steam, it was over for him. I think if the public can pull their heads from fiddy's ass, Ja might have a chance. Ja also lost a lot of respect from caucasian hip hop fans when he decided to attack Eminem.

Eminem talks tough on records like he's street credible, but there's no backlash when he drops popish bullshit like "My Band", or "Just Lose It".

ja fell down when his video for "the rain" debuted on 106 and park and the people booed it... note that up till that song there wasn't 1n song of his that the audience at 106 and park didn't like, so unless he gets his mind right and stops blamin aftermath for his failure, he better save his dough so he don't end up like Hammer...ooops 2late....
