I AM GOING TO SEE MORRISSEY TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!! WHO-HOOOOO!
It's so gonna friggin' rock! I've never seen him before live, so this is gonna be a real treat for me. I'll be up in the mezzanine level, but it's all good though. I hope he does "Tomorrow" or "Ouija Board". Finally, I'm gonna see my other musical hero. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

OK, so the concert kinda looked like this:
.....only thing was, it was at Radio City. So, opening for Moz was this Oooee-rish folk singer named Damin Dempsey. His accent was pretty thick, but he sang songs about peace & love, which was nice. But when Morrissey and his crew came out, I was in HEAVEN! They kicked it off with "How Soon Is Now" and just ran from there. There were a couple of downsides though, which involved those typical stage invasions. The first time it happened, the guy pretty much tackled Moz. The second time it happened was during the encore the band did "There Is A Light...", and another person ran onstage to hug Moz, but knocked him down. So the band just called it a night and just ended the song. Fucking security guards. They pissed Moz off to the point where he started cursing up a storm. So because of that the fans just started booing. Despite ending the show on a bum note, the rest of the show kicked ass. The biggest highlight: Someone threw the shirt at Moz, and he actually caught it directly. That was sooooo cool. So I don't know if this was the best concert I've ever seen, but for this year, it definitely was the best. He should've played "Hairdresser on Fire" or "Ouija Board" though. May I just add that his band is sexy as hell. Especially the drummer. And especially with his shirt off.

I'm going to see him in December - Can't wait!
The second time I saw him, he played Hand In Glove - he's gonna have to go some to top that. I just wish guitarist/co-writer Alain Whyte was back. He's been off for AGES with little explanation, other than that he is sick in some way. COME BACK SOON ALAIN! [Edited 10/19/04 4:05am]
