Working on what? Is he going to write some music for her? It will be a welcome change for her, Martin is an underrated writer. His group was unfairly maligned as wimpy Euro pop, but having recently listened to Black Celebration, The Masses and Violator, that was some really deep stuff. Good for her if this goes through. It's not like she needs the help. This post has been modified from its original thought. It has been formatted to fit into the space and run in the time allotted.

to recap for those not paying attention to the Maddy rumors that are out.
Mad's working on a new album and here are the list of the possible people she is working with: Patrick Leonnard; Live to Tell, Where's the Party, True Blue La Isla Bonita, Love Makes the World Go Round, Like a Prayer, Promise to Try, Cherish, Dear Jessie, Oh Father, Pray for Spanish Eyes, , He's A Man, Hanky Panky, I'm Going Bananas, Cry Baby, Something to Remember, Back in Businesness and Frozen are the tracks they worked wrote and produced together. Joe Henry; Don't Tell Me, Gulity By Assocation Guys Sigworth; What it Feels Like for a Girl, Easy Ride Martin Gore none yet they are the likely ones and rumor of Guy Chambers of Robbie Williams fame but that one probably isn't true. So it looks like Madonna is ready to change sound again. You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

if its true, it could end up being a really cool collaboration! its probably far too soon to start speculating as to who will (help) develop her next sound though.

It was big news on the Madonna forums a few days ago.It was reported by DrownedMadonna... Madonna has recorded a new song, described as an electro-pop ballad. The song has already been recorded and even if it is due in 2005,at this stage it's too early to state that it will be her new single, although insiders say that Madonna is determined to have a Number One single again.Apparently the song was written by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, produced by Guy Sigsworth and mixed by Stuart Price

For some reason, I'm really afraid that this is gonna be a studio cover of "Imagine". :dread:

I also heard a rumor that she wants to work with GoldFrapp, but I have no idea who they are Based on all the rumors and speculation we've heard so far,it seems that Madonna is still not yet ready to abandon electro-pop territory. But it's good that she won't be working with Mirwais again. It's time for a fresh start and a more aggressive sound.I think she should also consider working with JuniorSenior, the electro-rock Danish duo that scored last year with "Move Your Feet".That's just the type of track that Madonna needs...a catchy,retro-disco dance track that her core fans would go crazy over.

My dream Madonna album would be a retro-disco/dance album, produced by Jamiroquai It sounds insane, but I really think this would work.Did you hear Jamiroquai's last album 'A Funk Odyssey'? They added a little electronica into the mix,but they still maintain their retro funk sound. This type of sound would be refreshing for Madonna. She could work with Remy Shand on a few slower songs and ballads, and you would have an amazing Madonna album that takes her in a more soulful direction.

Yeah,I heard that Warners wants to get a new single out there asap, most likely to "cash in" on the amazing success of the tour, which just finished.I love how Maddy keeps them waiting...lol...they want to release a multi-disc box set as well, but she won't let them do it until SHE is good and ready.

Nah,I don't think she should rush. After the grueling tour, she should chill out, take her time and release a kickass new single in spring 2005,at the earliest. Then release the album just in time for summer. In the meantime, the 'Reinvention' Tour DVD could keep fans satisfied.Besides, what's the point of rush-releasing a single when the album is not done yet? But you know what? Perhaps this new song will appear in an upcoming movie? She's really fond of doing movie theme songs in-between albums ("Ill Remember"..."Beautiful Stranger"...."Die Another Day").Who knows?

Ive heard so many rumours as of late about Madonna working with Patrick Leonard and such.
I have no clue what she's currently doing, but it always excites me when Madonna works on something new. Even after her tour she still doesn't take a break she just keeps going.

Great news for Madonna fans. We hear she is planning three more dates at London's Earls Court.
Sources say the 46-year-old singer, who makes around £1 million per concert, was so pleased with the response from fans when she performed there last month she wants to play there again. An insider tells us: 'It's still in the planning stages, but Madonna can't wait to go back to Earl's Court. She's hoping the shows will take place next month, we're just waiting to get confirmation.' Let's just hope the tickets are less expensive this time around. I guess it's just a rumour but she's still touring! COME BACK TO TORONTO MADDY WE LOVE YOU

COME BACK TO TORONTO MADDY WE LOVE YOU That's wonderful, but why doesn't she come back to the U.S. and add some more dates? There are many, many states and cities that she still needs to play (Texas,Ohio,Michigan, etc). Many fans who live in those places were disappointed that they didn't get to see her this time around.

Working with Goldfrapp and Martin Gore would make her sound a lot softer on the electronic stuff. Both these manage to weave an electronic tapestry through a thoroughly written song with a good solid structure. I think that's what lacked -or at least annoyed- in Mirwais' production a lot. The ideas were great and ofter brilliant, but there just wasn't much of a tune beneath it all to carry them. An album produced by these people and possibly some older collaborators like Patrick Leonard would, imo be more of a return to the sound of "Ray Of Light". And that would be a nice way for her to take a few steps back and do another massive album with some very beautiful harmonies and melodies, embellished with some electronic trinkets here and there. I hope she'll call Marius de Vries again cuz he's good at those! Then, after she's done an album like that, she's kind of come full circle on her whole electronic era. That way, she'll be able to let it go a bit better and re-stuff her future music with more reflective stuff like good strong balads, some soul, some retro stuff and just some toned down rock tunes. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Madonna is a workaholic, that's for sure.A few days after the 'Drowned World Tour' ended, she was on some remote island shooting the film "Swept Away".And now, only a few days after the grueling 'Reinvention Tour' ends, she's in the studio recording a new album.Does she ever sleep? LOL. This is gonna be a fun period for her fans.In the coming months, there will be numerous rumors, alot of misinformation, outrageous fake tracklists, rumored collaborations, and a race among fansites to see who can provide the "most reliable" information...lol...this happens everytime Madonna is working on a new album.Do you remember the ridiculous rumors we heard throughout 2002 before 'American Life' came out? ***The album includes a remake of the David Bowie classic "Ziggy Stardust" ***Dr. Dre contributes a song called "Believe Her" ***It will be a rock album titled "Rock Vanity"
