I only have Walkie Talkie and Moon Safari, but they are quite good. They remind me a bit of Zero7 only less soulful, and a bit fruitier...

"Surfing on a Rocket" kinda spooked me cuz it sounds just like a Meloncholy-era Pumpkins song...

I really like them! Their score to the Virgin Suicides was perfect and Walkie Talkie ain't too bad either smile

I got to see them last spring, it was an awesome show. (even if they weren't backed by an orchestra smile )

I LOVE Moon Safari! nod

I have Talkie Walkie, but it hasn't really grown on me yet. Although I really like "Surfing on a Rocket", and the video for it.

I just noticed that on their site you can play Pong, like in the "Kelly Watch the Stars" video!!!

Speaking of Pong.....I was at Linens n Things the other day and I saw this little gadget that looked interesting. Pac-Man plug and play.....it has like 5 other arcade games on it including Pole Position. Its a joystick with a plug on it that u plug into the audio outlet on ur TV and BOOM ur playin the games on ur television set within 10 seconds razz

OK - now back 2 Air..... wink

Anxiety

Moon Safari is excellent bachelor pad music. While I like the other two (not counting the soundtrack), I think there are some songs here and there that break up the flow - a composite of the two could be really sweet.

The Virgin Suicides soundtrack didn't really do much for me at all.

Lots of my friends are into them. They came out with an album this year. I dunno. I like them sorta...but they are kinda plain. Sorta like Kruder & Dorfmeister...YAWN! And I am your friendly neighborhood chill guy. I put them in with the "mainstream" downtempo acts.

I am a chill-a-holic and a chill snob...so don't listen to me. But I can point you in other good directions nod like boards of canada

I thought I would really like them back in the day, but "Moon Safari" just washed over me with no impression.

I haven't bothered with them since then.

Air is one of the best bands out there! They're so innovative, and are unabashed fans of John Barry and 70s pseudo-porn music smile They do equally amazing jobs of making beautiful songs and a lot of strange out there music. I didn't get to see them when they came through Minneapolis this spring, but I'll live. Moon Safari is still their best, but Talkie Walkie was excellent. Virgin Suicides is one of my favorite books, films and film scores. All three were brilliant.

I didn't care at all for 10,000 Hz Legend, but they redeemed themselves with their last album, IMO. I can't wait to see what they do next.

I Love Air, did anyone hear the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix they did a couple of years back? 4 hours of funky music, they are real big prince fans too. they played crazy you, papa and did a re-edit of the ballad of Dorothy parker. A cool mix, if anyone what's it its in my shares on soulseek.
