Who's picking it up today? I've had the files downloaded for awhile but still haven't listened yet. I'm kinda excited about it.

I feel like of all of the hyped bands of late, they may be the one to have staying power. Not that they're my favorite, but they seem like they might have some tricks up their sleeves.

I got it, havent listened yet...

I will be picking it up this week, but I have to wait for pay day.

I've enjoyed listening to the downloads, so I'm very excited to get the actual CD!

Just got it. Im on track 6 so far. Tracks 2-6 are really good. Sounds like they've been listening to a LOT of Psychedelic Furs. Not a bad thing at all.

I heard it's not as depressing as their first record but I'm not going to pick it up until I hear it live on 10/15 in the D

Just got the album and concert tix. Can't wait to delve in.

I listened 3 times last night while in bed and I'm really liking it. You can definitely tell it's them, but it's a lot different than the first in tone. Where the first one was dark and majestic and had a lot of atmosphere, this one's peppier, faster and more straight forward. Not what I expected.

Heard the album yesterday. It was OK. I like the new single that's out now, but the album's not as good as their first one though.

And I'm totally with you on the faves list. The ending of "Not Even Jail" when the guitars are going nuts and the bass totally bottoms out kills me every time. Fuck yeah!

seriously, I know they are a "buzz band" but I didn't think they'd even crack the top 40!

Yeah, I heard that it might even go Top 10. Pretty fuckin' good for an indie band. Even a couple years ago when I saw them for the first time, the show was packed and people were really into it. They seem to have a really solid following outside of all the hype. It'll keep 'em around.

I must've listened to "Take you on a Cruise" 6 times back-to-back. The end of the song where it gets all "ministry" is a whole 'nother level!
