There are many albums that sound SO much better on vinyl. A guy just opened a new music shop across the street from me and he is carrying vinyl...new and old which is cool to see, but we were talking about this.
To name a few: The Clash's 1st UK album should be heard on vinyl only. Bruce Springsteen's The River. Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life...this was on when I went into this guys store...and DAMN it made me want to dust my vinyl copy off...it sounded so much better. ..and of course, Sign o The Times. I also agree about the 12" singles...especially Kiss & Mountains...is funky as hell on a turntable. on CD still awesome but not quite as cool.

Oh my god..."Summer Soft" "Have A Talk With God" are so beautiful on vinyl...u can hear that soft percussion and air .. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I've always preferred vinyl. Andy is a four letter word.
