I know, I know, American Idol! Best singer? But believe it or not this trainwreck actually has the ability of turning out a memorable performance or two. And for 2 years it was a show that was so bad-it's-good watchable that you turned your insides out trying to get through the aticipation and torture. This can be fun for a while.

So who do you think is the most talented of the bunch so far? At this moment 34 contestants have warbled their way into our hearts in one way or another. The one that has burrowed deepest in mine is my girl Trenyce! Trencye was argueably THE most talented AI contestant to grace the show, but NEVER got the respect she deserved. She had scant air time during the auditions only to give a powerhouse performance of "Love Sneakin Up On You" that went unnoticed by the AI voting public (She was passed over for lesser talents during her initial round). Once she got on the show she was constantly in the bottom of the voting pool but managed to place 5th (Behind the least talented singer in America Josh Gracin).

My vote is for promising diva Trenyce. Who's yours?

For me it's Fantasia! That girl can sing and she has a great stage presence.
