Jessica Simpson's first seasonal disc is being sold exclusively via North American 7-Eleven convenience stores throughout October and November. "A Special Limited Edition Christmas Collection" features seven tracks, including a duet on "Little Drummer Boy" with her sister Ashlee and an acoustic version of the pop music/reality television star's single "Angels."

In addition to selling the disc through December (while supplies last), 7-Eleven is sponsoring a contest to win an all-expenses-paid trip to an invitation-only private concert with Simpson early next year.

In other news, Simpson and husband Nick Lachey will host their second variety special Dec. 10 on ABC. Differing from couple's first special in April, the upcoming show will have a decidedly Christmas theme. Ashlee Simpson is planning to take part, according to her official Web site.

I saw her perform at the VMA's where she did Angels, I say did but I mean raped.
I'm not a big fan of this Robbie Williams song, but she just butchered it.
I don't get what americans see in her??

Really, only pre-pubescent girls in America listen to her "music". Her show was popular, primarily because folks want to tune in to hear what incredibly stupid things will come out of her mouth. Pretty much the same reason for the success of "The Simple Life"

i have to confess, i loved the nick and jessica variety special. it was sooo horrible, it reminded me of all the horrible variety show specials that lynda carter and paul lynde used to do in the 70s. i haven't laughed that hard at a network tv show in a long time...though i'm not so sure if i was supposed to be laughing at most of it.
