Really, I don't like Yoko that much, but indeed they we're truly in love, and i like to see that!

John wrote his most beautiful lyrics bacause of Yoko. The only annoying thing was that she didn't leave his side where-ever he went.

The picture of John Lennon and Mark C really got me for a day... I hate that picture so much, and i'm getting sad he was killed by such an pschyco!!!

If John was still alive he would still be great, i'm sure... but why discuss that?? John is dead!
and I miss him truly!

All respect to John Lennon and Yoko Ono and Lennon fans, but I agree with HowComeUdontBa

I wonder what John Lennon would have to say about this? Whilst he was a human being like all of us, he was always one for saying he was no better or no different to anyone else, so why should his killer be treated any differently to anyone else convicted of the same crime, simply because his victim was a celebrity?

I also agree tho that if Chapman was freed, some crazy would try and get him. Which would do nobody any good whatsoever.

It's a difficult one, and I can understand where all sides are coming from. But, on this issue, I always come back to - What would Lennon say?

Yes. This is a positive thing, But would we feel the same to if he didn't murder john but yet another peaceful man who wasn't famous? Any way The guy deserves to stay in Jail, I heard a rumour the day before he was shoot, he invited the same guy who shot him who was just out side his house for tea. This true?

I miss John just as much as anybody....but let's look at this logically.

If Chapman's victim had been anybody but John Lennon, he'd have made parole years ago.

We've all heard of cases where a murderer gets parole after five years or so. I'm not saying Mark David Chapman deserves parole, but I'm asking why he's getting the full punishment when the killer of a "nobody" can get off with a slap on the wrist? Why was John's life worth more than anyone else's?

Something's not right with this picture.

oh well.. someone throw away the keys please

Oh well? neutral That doesn't answer my question: Why is John's life worth more than a "nobody" 's? Why does his killer get the full punishment when someone who killed in a similar fashion gets paroled at 5 years?

The death penalty will never solve any problems. A dead Chapman won't create a living Lennon.

i dont believe he was mentally unstable when he murdered john.

rolleyes Because normal folks go around stalking and murdering people every day...

he deserves to be in prison for life.

Not going to argue here. but what about the killer of the homeless man who's released after 5 years? The mother who kills her husband and is out after 10?

get him out and LORD knows which superstar he would rob the world of again! [/b]

No mention of the people he may have killed.....

Your attitude's pretty twisted.
