Ray's a phenomenal producer, solid guitar player, and a good vocalist but he's a terrible writer and a poor composer. The new album is great in terms of funk, groove, and the overall sound of it, but the melodies are sometimes too predictable and the lyrics are simply naive, blatant, and unimaginative. Not to sound like an Amazon flack, but shipping for orders of $25 or more is free. So it's good for when you want more than 1 CD. Also, I have gotten my orders in about 3-4 days average, sometimes sooner if I pre-order. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Damn I am sure you have THIS one, but if you don't, knowing your penchant for jazz vocalists, this one would be a delight for you: ![]() I already have it. This is the only Nancy Wilson album I have(along with Yesterday's Love Song/2day's bluse). To be quite honest, I can't dig too well into Nancy's stuff. She sounds alot like a Dinah Washington to me. Maybe I'm being fickle but I'm more drawn into individualists.

I also want "Good Times" seasons 1&2. How much are they asking for "227"? I got it for $24.99 at Circuit City. 3-Disc set. 22 episodes + bonus features. It brings back a lot of memories! The Temptations came on the 2nd season, I think. They're not on this season. Guest stars on this DVD: Fran Drescher, Whitman Mayo, and LaWanda Page and Bernard Ighner. Unlike many other TV-on-DVD products that have been released by Columbia Tri-star Home Entertainment, this DVD set contains many very good special features (in fact it is one of the better sets in comparison to other series when it comes to special features), including “From Stage to Screen: 227” (6:11), “Three Ladies Remembering 227” (6:33), and “Stories from the Stoop” (20:10).
