so it was kier kirby who played market days and not princess superstar? i'm a bit less frustrated then. it would have been cool to see lady miss kier spin, but nothing beats a princess superstar show (except, of course, for a deee-lite concert).

LOL but as i recall...fin does have a voice of gold pretty funny visual to think of him in a skin tight catsuit wiht a red flip though !!! vi

superspaceboy said: For those of you that were listening at the time...Did you ever call the Party Happening People line? It was listed in the liner notes on Dew Drops. By the time I got the album...like all rave parties, it had been shut down.

anyone here ever see dee-lite in concert. I did. It was good. Bootsy came out and all. It was like a big party. I had a fight with my BF at the time...so though the concert was good, I didn't have that good of time. Christian Zombie Vampires

ive seen them twice. once at glam slam in minneapolis for the world clique tour, and then again much later in chicago at the metro for the dewdrops in the garden tour.
the world clique tour was off the hook :horn: we were in the front row...it was amazing. funky, groovy..long un-rehearsed bridges....bootsy....the long white haired conga palyer (forget her name...but she kicked ass) the whole shabang. the dewdrops show was great....but more medlies than full songs....and i think they were on drugs like i wasnt we went to an after party that night and the whole band showed up....i got to meet and hug miss kier and i also got to meet dimitri and one of the guys who was dancing for them at that time. we all danced in the same area at the after party all night.....wow. vi

I saw her DJ'ing maybe in 96 or 97 in Philly in the US (...I think it was Philly... my memory's kinda bad). And also last year in Brussels in a pretty shitty club (i know, i know... all clubs are shitty here... or at least by my standards) whose name i can't remember. I don't think Dee-lite were so big around here either because very few of the people there seemed to know who she was. Her set was pretty nice though. I'm more into Towa Tei these days though than any of the rest of them. Change it one more time..

Towa Tei has released consistently strong albums. I'm glad he lived on past the band. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
