 i understand what you mean but why is it a gimmick when madonna does it but not a gimmick when tricky, bjork, u2, radiohead or whoever does it? It's more of a personal want, really. I think Maddy is at her best when performing straight forward pop songs. Tricky and U2 I respect as artists but I'm not much into them so I don't give a damn what they do. Radiohead... well. Sometimes the clicks, whirrs and beeps are the songs, but I honestly think they do it in a way that manages to enhance their work rather than detract from it. Bjork?
