Late 2004 music will be amazing

20 years after one of the greatest years in music history (1984), the year 2004 has been a slow one, there have been a handful of albums that I feel were Amazing records, to name a few VAN HUNT, the latest HEART, the latest RICK SPRINGFIELD record (yeah Rick), Lenny, Alanis and George michael too. In the last few weeks I have been amazed by 2 new CDS , 1st would be TEARS FOR FEARS, right now this is why favorite of the year and will be tough to beat in my mind. I have heard some say they have left New Wave behind, but lets be real here, they left New Wave behind when they did SONGS from The Big Chair. This TEARS record has restored my faith in Music, that some still care more about the Music than the Units its gonna sell. My second one would be the new JOSS STONE record, some people dont feel her but I totally do, and what people forget is that she is still only a teenager, her best is yet to come, but on this record she has written most of it, the production of Betty Wright and guests appearances by Angie Stone and ?uest Love and Cindy Blackman, this album has got that RB groove but at the same time the last 3 tracks on this CD, will blow your mind, and make sure u wait for that Bonus Hidden Track because its AMAZING!!

But the even better thing with the rest of the year is that the OLDER more experienced talented artists are gonna bail the year out. I mean new REM,U2,BonJovi,ELTON,Mariah,Mellencamp,Duran of course and many others, this could be one of the best once again.

lol Hey who would have thought back in 1984, that in 2004, REM,U2,TEARS,DURAN,ELTON,MELLENCAMP,and JOVI would all be coming out with New Stuff.

You've hit upon an interesting point... I am really struggling to connect with most "newer" artists. The new releases that I tend to be buying are from artists that I have a long history with.

Speaking of late '04, let's hope Gwen Stefani's new solo CD doesn't disappoint.

Is Res dropping anything this winter?

Whatever happened to Meshell's jazz album? Is that delayed 'til '05?

Lenny, Alanis and George michael too.

I have these CDs am not very impressed with any of them. You'd think I've learned my lesson and would slow down on all of my buying but noo...

What I am looking forward to are news hits sets by Shania Twain and Seal (apparently there are three different verisons of this, one more expensive than the next, I assume).
