99% of todays rap is crap...

But Ludacris seems to have a way of rappin' that I like...his songs have the BUMP and
they bring some FUNK too.
I don't own Chicken n Beer or anything else by him...I'm just sayin' that what I've heard,
sounds kinda right.

Ordinarily I hate macho posturing, poser phony mobster gansta K-RAP radio rap but I really like Luda because, like Eminem, his lyrics are either tongue n' cheek, satirical or otherwise not made to be taken seriously. Plus he's just so damn clever and funny. And funky too.

I don't own anything by him, can't take too much of him @ one time BUT I like his flow, not crazy about his subject matter from what I've heard so far...

I like the way Ludacris raps. He's definitely got his own style.

I laugh at his lyrics, he has a funny way with words.

Luda's nice he's one of the few industry cat's i'm feelin....like my girl Shawnna too.

I haven't heard all of Ludacris' music,but I do have several songs of his on my mp3 player.Dude has a really great flow and voice for rap.He maybe could be one of the greats if he were more serious,but he just has fun and getrs paid.I don't even take some of the stuff he says literally.It's funny coming from him.I am getting more selective about the types of lyrics I take in.I'm really into a lot less "nigga","bitch","ho",etc. type sounds.And I used to jam old Cube,NWA,Beatnuts stuff all the time. I just am far less enamored with that stuff these days.I've heard it all before.And real life in America is crucial enough without that stuff being beat into my psyche every day. And right about now I get just as pumped from Herbie Hancock,Weather Report,Hendrix,Return to Forever,u2,and some others as I used to from that stuff.

You know.. stuff like that with good lyrics dealing with topics other than: "the bling on my little finger can buy your house" and "My ho really knows how to be a ho" and so forth...
