Duran Duran Promoted their new album on dutch radio

Yesterday 4 members of Duran Duran visited 2 radiostations in Holland. Unfortunatley i only heared the one on 3fm, where they presented their favourite songs of the 90's (smack my bitch up, sexy boy etc)

Andy Taylor had a flu, so he didn't join them.

They also talked about the new album and tour, and even played a whole new song (A taste of summer) which really sounded great!! (better than the demoversion)

They also said they we're visiting Holland again around May 2005 for a couple of shows!!! So that is when the European tour will begin (or end, i don't know)

They seemed very happy playing together again, and it was just like listening to a show of the 80's! Simon was the joker again, Nick the serious one, and John was so happy he could say the word " Fuck" live on the dutch radio! And Roger...and talked when he was asked something biggrin

Simon and John Also joined a show on 2fm, where they played "Astronaut" ! You can listen to this show at : www.schiffers.fm/index.asp?ID=0
-click on ARCHIEF,
-then on SEPTEMBER 2004
-then on 30 september 2004 AUDIO
-then go forward to 40 min and 22 sec.

Just wanted to share it with you.

They also recorded a tv program " Pulse" which will be broadcasted on october 9th in Halloand on RTL4!

woot! Awesome! I love that picture... drool

I know what you mean about hearing them interviewed. touched Brings back memories. I have sooooo many tapes of radio interviews from 81-89. Fun stuff. Simon is so funny and Nick is too. I LOVE the sound of Nick's voice and his sense of humour.

mushy
