Beverley Knight ![]() Anyone familiar with this artist? If so, what are your favorite songs by her? She's based in the UK and has a lot of success there. Her sound is Brit-soul mixed with pop and rock. Her new album is called "Affirmation." I recommend you check her out if you're looking for new talent to get into. Some of my faves: Come As You Are Flavour of the Old School Supasonic (has this Prince & NPG vibe to it) Tea and Sympathy Greatest Day . [Edited 9/30/04 5:32am]

I don't even know are there any more out there? yeah, there are. "Who I Am" was the follow up to Prodigal Sista, and was a real, real gem of an album. Beautiful voice, very soulful album, with a couple of classic pop melodies to boot. The soul was dripping off that CD. latest album, (very recent) is called "Affirmation" and isn't as much my cup of tea; it seems to have shifted (on the whole) away from the Soul and drifted more into pop/rock. Still a great album, but after Prodigal Sista and Who I Am, which I rate VERY highly (especially the tracks Get Up, Shoulda Woulda Coulda (check the sparse hidden track at the end of the album which is a much better version of this than the released single), Who I Am, and Bestseller Mystery), i was a little disappointed.
