Her singles for "In The Zone" have actually done better than the singles from her last album. I think "Toxic" might be her second biggest single in America. That being said, she does need to straightening her act up becuase the press likes to pick her apart and radio DJs were slamming the song (even though I don't think it's bad).

I heard it. Bobby's original still bangs.
I'd take "I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)" over this remake.

Yep, Paisley is right, Bobby kicks million times better then britney's version....
.....have u Britney fans heard the original? Britney's version really is perhaps the worst remake I have heard in a long time.....zero soul, crappy production that stop starts too much.....video is shit too.....Iam sorry but this version is the crappest thing I heard in a long time..so lifeless! When Britney says "souped", that cracks me up.....that word has been dated 4 a while now.....coulda changed that lyric..... They tried to make the song suspensful and exciting.....should not of kept making the song go quiet on the chorus (if I rmememeber), it loses the tiny momentum it had! Go hear Bobby's version, with its added swagger (in the voice I mean) [Edited 9/20/04 0:59am]

I just don't understand why they have to mess with her voice in the song...if she would sing without all that computerized BS added it, maybe i'd like it a little better. Believe it or not I loved the song "Everytime" - because it sounded more natural. Let the rain come down...17 days....

We really need 2 send u a copy of "Dont Be Cruel" that album is a classic. Ok..but did u just c what u said? And I guess Britney just made up her whole carreer by herself... Anyway..Every Little Step was the jam..so was "Rock Wit Cha" "Roni" "Dont Be Cruel" "Ill Be Good 2 U" "Good Enough" "On Your Own" "Girl next Door" Baobby was another pioneer for the New Jack Swing sound which made him popular thanx to Teddy Riley & Babyface. Britney sounds like she is shy and not really feeling it...I dont believe her when she says it. Plus im comparing to the original because it's a song that should NOT have been touched. When u say Bobby had 0 soul in My Perogative.... u are lost. I believed him at least, he screamed, he danced hard he shouted... yeah, u tell 'em Paisly.....even though I have my own thoughts on "my perogative", the facct that lyrically it was a sort of fuck u to his new Edition bandmates was also cool.....Bobby co-wrote the song with the great Gene Griffen (a new jack pioner), I like to think that Bobby wrote all the lyrics by himself!
Bobby sings the song fantastically, loads of attitude and I got him perfroming it live and Bobby kicks some major as live.....great perfromer, mic control etc.....man I'd do anything to c that tour Bobby did with his old mates new edition.....with Guy the opening act.....that is bloody new jack heaven! All 3 competing with each other.....I hope people know who Guy is?

Rhondab said: SassyBritches said: Its official...I hate all of you!!! I like that damn NE song..... I think that new NE song is okay. I hadn't heard it until I went to DC last month-it's on heavy rotation there. I was just happy to see them performing again (minus Bobby-which is a blessing, imo-cause I went to the last reunion tour, and Bobby was a mess). But maybe that's just cause I was a huge NE fan in 7th grade. I'm just glad they are getting gigs. Also, that "Don't Be Cruel" disc was the bomb back in the day. And I went to that Bobby Brown/Al B Sure/whoever else tour back in the day, and Bobby did an excellent job ofentertaining the crowd. I LOVED me some Bobby Brown.....and then he turned into a big crackhead. S Filthy cute and baby U know it
