It is no coincidence that the Milli Vanilli guys look similar to the look Sananda/TTD had back in the 80s. Frank Farian (the guy behind Milli Vanilli) worked with TTD before he became famous. Sometime ago I saw him on a TV Interview and he was asked about Milli Vanilli. He told that he and 2 other musicians had written a great song and shortly later when he was in
the studio he saw Terence Trent D'Arby 2 times. He had discovered him, but somehow he had lost him and now he saw 2 Terence Trent D'Arbys. So they just wanted to do a video and then they just couldn't stop it anymore. I assume Frank Farian was anything but happy that TTD had become such a huge star after having stopped working with Frank Farian. [Edited 9/30/04 15:15pm] perhaps the whole milli vanilli thing was inspired by terence trent d'arby ? cos farian is reputed for creating acts with soul-boney m! thanx serious!!!always felt there had 2be a connection between ttd and milli vanilli. | |

Yiou are welcome I don't think the music was inspired by TTD, but as Frank Farian himself has admitted that he chose the 2 guys because they looked similar to TTD at least the look of the band was.
