Alice Cooper's great. He's one of the first people I was into when I started buying records.
I've got all his albums, and the excellent 'Life and Crimes of' box set.

I was so in love with him,,i wanted to run away & be his groupie~~~ Love it to death is great, and I'm 18 is a classic. Here's my "Alice Cooper"-related story: Freshman year in college, 1971, we went to the Mardi Gras in N'awlins and walked around drunk (of course) for days. At some point, one of my buds, on a dare, climbed into one of those above-the-ground crypts they have in the cemetaries there. He poked around, saw something white and shoved it into his jumpsuit (if you remember the early 70's, you may remember wearing mechanics overalls and jumpsuits, especially on a heavy "stoner" night). Anyway, he had grabbed a skull - which we took back home to our dorm. Everytime that we dropped acid thereafter (at least once a week), the skull would come out and we'd play "Love it to Death". And yes, I was 18 at the time. And yes, too bad Alice is an asshole Republican *****************************************

I dug "Poison", still do. And the video was SEXXXXY at the time. Probably still considered so by fans. "Welcome To My Nightmare"....that brings back some memories.

Alice Cooper is one of my faves, especially the stuff produced by Bob Ezrin. "Billion Dollar Babies" is a classic album. 1970-75 is my favorite period of Alice's. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

How can you not love Alice. His "from the inside" album is great!! I'm not a fan of his newer music, but some of his older stuff is good.

I'm not a fan or anything, but when I turned 18, the song "I'm 18" became my anthem. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

I'm a HUGE Alice fanatic. 'The Eyes Of Alice Cooper' is a fantastic album, I'm just disappointed that he didn't come close enough on tour for me to be able to see him this time around.
Who here has the cheesy TV special "The Nightmare" with Vincent Price as co-star? It's VERY 70s, but a necessity for any Alice fan. If I want your opinion, I'll beat it outta ya!

Alice Cooper is great fun, and listening to it now it's hard to fully understand why he was so controversial.
