I know many know this already, but Lenny is such a big Prince cunt licker in interviews...with the shades and the supposed "oh look at me I'm so cool at all times" way he speaks makes me mad at times.....it is pathetic!

i've always thought that Lenny was too pretentious and phoney.He's playing the typical,played-out "cool rock star" role.He's a rock and roll cliche,hanging out at all the glitzy Hollywood parties....dating famous actresses and models....wearing the weird clothes....complaining in interviews that critics just don't "get" him...blah blah blah.it's kinda tired if you ask me.

I was watching television yesterday and Lenny Kravitz came on and i noticed his whole persona and just about everything is Princy. he is Prince frikin jr.

Who cares? He sucks.....period!

So how do you guys really feel about 'ol Lenny?

Im n2 old Lenny moreso than new Lenny. He has been very Prince'd out and doing a sucky job at it. I wont deny that Im n2 some of his oldies but this recent Lenny has been basking in the glow of Prince's "comeback" triumph. *DONT CALL IT A COMEBACK!!!* ( I know, I know )

After that last album I'm wondering if Lenny will be revelant in 10 years. I'd like to think so because I love his early stuff but with his ego not in check and weak music, time will tell.

Yes, they are both black guitarists, but I don't think that alones warrants these constant comparisons -- especially since Lenny rocks and Prince is stuck on funk. I prefer rock. So Lenny rock on.

I loved the first 3 Lenny albums, I've seen almost every tour even the first one at a small theatre in LA. But the last 2 cd's are so Pro Tooled to death, that he's losing me. There's no live feel at all, it's all digital loop drum tracks and simple and really kind of boring..Especially the ballads..

The quote in the Entertainment Weekly review was pretty funny.. it said something like
"Lenny is obsessed with seeing how many times he can rewrite Hey Jude without getting sued by Paul MCCartney.." That's fuckin hilarious..
