I thought he defunct it. I have Outside...of course. Didn't know (or did I) that Earthling was part of it. And Hours...

I need to be skooled.

Earthling and hours weren't intended to be part of the trilogy Bowie started with 1.Outside...the trilogy was meant to have a narrative that runs through all three albums. Last I heard, Bowie was still toying with putting together a part two, and he said there was enough material left over from recording 1.Outside to make it happen fairly easily.

isn't it just a bundling of the 3 reissues?

mainly. each of the reissues has a bonus disc full of b-sides, remixes and unreleased stuff. i wanna have 'em just so i can have all those tracks in one fairly centralized collection, hopefully all nice and remastered. i'm not big on having lots of singles scattered around, so hopefully when i get this boxed set i can get rid of a lot of my bowie cd-singles.

Not quite. They're from '95/'97/'99. He had a couple in 2002 and 2003.

I picked up a copy of Outside the other day (I wasn't actually aware they were being sold seperately until last week) and it ain't bad. The remastering isn't that noticable of course but the bonus tracks are definitely worth it. I'll be getting the other two later in the week.

I ran around town looking for this today with no luck or any further information. I guess I'll have to try out of town.
