Joss Stone - Mind, Body & Soul I just picked this up over lunch, and gave it a listen on the way back. I've only made it halfway through the album, and so far it's really good! Yes, I know there are a fair share of people here who don't fancy her, but for those that do, this one's a good album! I've only had time to make it through 8 songs, but the highlights are Right to be Wrong and Jet Lag.
The instrumentation and orchestration on this one, I think, is even better than her previous album. I can only hope that her input on her music increases as she gets older. She's co-written all the songs on here, and granted I don't know what exactly she contributed, but it is a step in the right direction. Now if the second half of the album totally sucks, then I'll have some backtrackin' to do, but I don't see that happening. If you dig her, pick it up. If ya don't...can it and move along.

I've not listened to it the full way through yet (I'm at work), but there seems to be a good number of both uptempo and slow songs. Re: the EW review - I don't get EW anymore, so I've not yet read it. allmusic.com gave it a good enough review, 4 out of 5 if I recall correctly.
