Just picked it up.. i had to hear what they were gonna do with it..
The melody has been twisted a bit, the upscale piano (the famous piano line) is not there.. but i think of this song as an individual from the orig. Nothing can replace lennons masterpeice.. but this is a nice change up.. a polished rock cover.. its not too hard or soft..

I would have been better off NOT hearing that "version".

I'm not usually such a purist, but seriously, that version was absysmal.

Christ. This song should never, ever, be covered by anyone, ever. The charm of the original is that it's delivered as just a little statement, a suggestion. But when people try to cover it, they oversing and make it into an anthem. It's just wrong.
