Donna Summer isn't in there. I say, if the people that TLC samples from aren't in, neither are they. Pop female artists (R&B as well, I'm sure) don't get that much respect (nor do women in music period) so I would be surprised if it happened. Now if Madonna didn't get in, it be hell, but she'll be the exceptation.

TLC has no shot at the R&R Hall of Fame - nor should they.

OK, that's really wack if R&B artists aren't shown love in the R&R hall of fame since Rock 'n' roll is a derivative of Rhythm & Blues.

P wrote "Waterfalls" for TLC, right? Any1 with any more juicy bits on him penning that 4 them? I love that.

And, NO, they should not be in the hall of fame.

No. He performed it at a few shows in the mid-nineties, sparking this rumour, but P did NOT write that tune.

I agree that TLC should not be in the RRHOF. I really like a lot of their music, but they just didn't have that great of an impact.

Besides Destiny's Child, I can't think of a stronger, more talented or creative "girl group" in recent years that achieved so much success and had such a strong impact with young women of color. So much impact, I might add, a number of adults were a little concerned by their condom fashion accessories.

TLC had great production, TONS of personality, scandal, and a knack for locking on to solid vehicles that promoted them well (anyone else remember those MTV spots -- not to mention their soundtrack contributions). By the time CSC came out, they were huge. For good reason.

I hope they're inducted, when they become eligible. They were rock 'n roll.

I don't know if it's just R&B artist but it certaintly is eaiser for rockers to get in than R&B artists. Women have the toughest time, probably, so that is their real strike.
