I hear the similarities but I think that's a pretty common little gospel/blues structure.

Good to hear that cut again, however. I haven't heard that since I was in Buster Brown's in Sunday School

That is an old song though right? I'm looking at the credits for the Florida Mass Choir and they recorded it in 1998. Do you know who recorded that first? I remember that cut from back when I was 6 or 7 in the early 80s.

Yeah, that's the original version from the early 80s...I want to say '81 or '82 'cause I remember my sister's gospel choir at UGA performing it. Anyway, it probably reads '98 because that's when the album was re-issued.

This song is great! I'm not familiar too much gospel.
