Tina Turner's new album cover (look)

All that and the lady is 65-years-old.

I want to see her on tour next year.

Damn. She is still looking good. I hope that I can age like that and still look good at 65. If she does another tour, my mother and I will be there b/c she gives a hell of a show. She is one bad sista. Not too many female performers can keep up with her.

All hail the dual miracles of cosmetic surgery and air-brushing .... How old's that picture anyway?

She just did a 100 million gross tour in 2000. You are entilted to your opinion but you might want to try having something positive to say once in a while.

kisses

im not knocking her age but she herself has said she is too old to be touring and that she is content living a private life.....and those photo's look exactly like her promo pics from her last album....

i have mad respect for performers like tina and christine mcvie for realizing when to say when.....why is it woman seem to have the smarts to say when.....maybe they need to school The Rolling Stones & Paul McCartney....

i might consider the idear of her actually doing some small night club type gigs if this was a new album of "new" work but.....you posted the setlist. wink

not being a killjoy just a realist....

Being that I met Tina a few years ago on her farewell tour, she said in an interview that she had her nose done and that was it...because IKE had broken it a few times and thats the only kind of cosmetic surgery she's had, and I honestly believe her, because I'm a man of color and having grandma's and great grandma's I've noticed Latin and Black women don't age bad!

So I believe TINA is just blessed with aging well.
Not everyone results in platic surgery...maybe some lighting with the photos but get real, she don't need to go under the knife to be 65 and still look that good, its in the genes!

GO TINA!

Do my eyes decieve me. No "River Deep, Mountain High"? Does she have some sort of problem with that song or are the rights a big problem to get. I remember I ordered "Simply The Best" over the net years ago and I thought that RD,HM was on there...and it wasn't...but I look at the record stores and I see that they have it on most CDs! I was al set to get this album, even as an import if I had to. Now I'm not so sure.

Rights. It does appear on a lot of import bootlegs, but Phil Spector's catalogue is notoriously difficult to license.

lol Sorry, I just assumed Vinny could read. razz

Spector's catalogue has presented problems in the past, however. You'll notice that there isn't much from the River Deep - Mountain High LP on there, and the whole thing is classic.

65 is what 50 was twenty years ago.

'Tonight' with David Bowie is a beautiful song.

They were shagging each other when he wrote it for her.

Nice to see that Lulu will be able to afford her annual botox subscription with the inclusion of 'I Don't Wanna Fight'.

I love Tina. When I was younger there were only four women's faces on my wall. Tina, Sherilyn Fenn, Madonna and Kim Basinger. They were all so iconic in their own way. All my other posters were Prince.
