They've disbanded and aren't planning on getting back together anytime soon. They parted ways very bitterly. Salt became jaded with the industry after Herbie (their producer and manager) d*cked her out of a lot of money. Plus, when SnP couldn't even fill up nightclubs with their name -- they said enough is enough. Salt is married and raising her kids peacefully out of the spotlight. SnP had bitter financial, managerial battles. Pepa divorced Treach (of Naughty by Nature) and she's out of the spotlight, too. Spinderella hasn't had the best of relations with the other two spices after she got ganked out of money by Salt, Pepa & Herbie! They d*cked her out of some royalties, so she hasn't spoken to them in years.

The Salt-N-Pepa story indeed has a lot of drama, but through their music and groundbreaking history these three girls remain hip hop legends .

((I sound like VH1's Behind The Music?)) LMAO! Are they hiring?! lol

Yeah,I saw their "Behind The Music" episode a few years ago.Their DJ "Spinderella" was pissed at them.In 1997,they signed a new record deal that gave them an advance of $11 million to split among themselves.Spinderalla felt that the money should be divided three ways, equally, but the other two girls didn't agree.Only one album was released through this deal, and then they apparently broke up.I was hoping that,by now, they would have patched everything up and begin working on a reunion album.

confuse I think Winstons drums (and 7th Wonder "Daisy Lady" music) were on "I Desire". "I'll Take Your Man" had Trouble Funk drums and Parliament "Flashlight" (and Yes "Owner Of A Lonely Heart") samples. wink

Anyway...
Yes, the album with the Original Spinderella is my favorite. I know that album backwards.

This is the one I return to the most.

It's got the cuts like Doper Than Dope (that beat is ill), Expression, You Showed Me, Negro Wit An Ego, Swift, Start The Party, and I Don't Know (feat. Kid-N-Play).

This album had great lines:

"some fat wack nappy bittty tried to step to spinderella i was cool i made my move, then i dropped her like a fella!!!!" lol

"I'm listenin' to my hammer tape! while my sound system is bumpin!" lol

"Gimme a beat and lemme bus-a-rhyme, for all the nerds, let all the words feed your mind"

Black's Magic is my shit. I memorized every word of "Expression" back in the day and could still probably rap the whole thing. lol

Hot, Cool & Vicious is not to be slept on either.

I will admit, "I'll Take Your Man" was a jam as was "My Mic Sounds Nice." And we all know "Push It" is a dance party/hip hop classic.

There's not really one I like more than the other. I like parts of all their albums. I think they should release a collection soon. Along with a dvd collection. nod

"I'll Take Your Man" is a classic though. lol
