Sony have now put on their site audio excerpts of some of the box set songs.

The new songs you can hear a bit of are:

Shake Your Body (Demo)
Sunset Driver
PYT (Demo) - This doesn't sound AT ALL like the PYT we know
We Are The World (Solo Version)
We Are Here To Change The World
Dangerous (Demo)

As well as the above other songs like You Can't Win, Someone In The Dark, and most of the other classics are there

Sunset Driver sounds good. Hard to judge on a 30 second sample. P.Y.T. is literally a whole different song.

The site has been updated. Now you can hear "Cheater", "Monkey Business", "Beautiful Girl" and "The Way You Love Me".

These 30 second samples just won't do. I need this thing in my hands right now!

Why the hell didn't he just release his own "Crystal Ball" set? That would have at least shown some balls - instead of grouping these songs with already released ones. Why are they even there? As a release this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

besides, apart from disc four, Crystal Ball was a hatchet job. Take into account 'Moviestar' and 'Crucial'. At least these 'new' MJ songs appear to be what they originally were.

well, according to that if he doesnt release 3 more albums(history,blood,invincible), a greatest hits package(number ones) and a boxset he will lose half the rights to beatles catalog and the songs from thriller,bad and off the wall.

He made millions of $$$ by signing it. and kinda mortgaged his rights.

Of the 'newest new songs' The Way You Love My sounds cool but Beautiful Girl sounds like a total mess imho. Maybe it's the 32Kbps, but still

I think the spate of 'Greatest hits' packages recently is because sony only have a limited ammount of times they can re-release the albums and tracks before the masters are returned to MJ so I think they are just cashing in on the "classics" to get their money's worth now before they go with MJ to another label!!

No, some are new, some old, and some remakes or demos - like Dangerous, that´s a cool one. Who is it, There´s new version of We are the world and other stuff. It´s really cool! I also wish they would put all the new stuff into one CD, cause this way you have one or two new songs per CD, so if you wanna listen to just those songs, you have to change CDs all the time, which is kinda annoying! But hey, I think this has nothing to do with MJ! Sony is in charge of what´s gonna be released and what not.
