( sometimes these pop songs are very talk-singy) but she really belted that night and did a fantastic job, ever the showgirl. I wish she would do more work that would showcase her abilities. Although, i do happen to like some of her last album's songs....

What you're reffering to is, I think is titled "The Artist Collection" and BMG released like a dozen of them at once with major artists who probably don't have a very tight control over their songs (the biggest artist I saw on there was Whitney Houston, which is kind of a surprise). The tracklisting aren't greatest hits or best ofs by any means and in the case of TLC, they put a segue on their collection. Very embrassing but they probably trap people who have nothing by the artists or more likely, die hard completists. Could you imagine buying any of those CDs...for the cover since you already have the music on at least on CD already! I know it's hard to keep track of all these various greatest hits, best ofs, collections of ballads, remixes, etc. but if you just get rid of all that useful information like how to breathe, you'll get it. | |
